MANNY MCFILLER'S QUEST TO HALT THE SIGNS OF AGEING
Leading London Clinic Registers Significant Increase in ‘Metrosexual’ Enquiries
London – 19 November, 2007 – Leading cosmetic surgery practice London Plastic Surgery Associates (www.lpsa.co.uk) today revealed that more men than ever are now pursuing aesthetic non-surgical ‘assistance’ in a quest to maintain their youthful looks, and have registered an increase in their own clinic of at least 30% over the past year.
Firm friends Alan Booth and John Cairns are regular visitors to the LPSA’s ‘Non-Surgical Room’ and have no hesitation in admitting that they are in favour of seeking a little extra help to preserve their youthful good looks for as long as possible.
Alan, a fun loving 44-year-old ‘manny’ (male nanny) who hails from Shoreditch states;
“Over the last few years I’ve known many friends who have had Botox and filler injections and I always admired the results. Seeing them growing younger-looking over time gave me the incentive to join in the quest to maintain my looks as well”.
Alan was motivated to try Botox on his forehead and crows feet and Hydrafill Softline temporary dermal filler in his lips. He was so pleased with the results he’s now considering permanent lip implants. He adds;
“Although the treatments that I have had were very subtle, even friends who don’t know I had anything done have commented on how well and refreshed I look, which confirms that I must have started to look a bit ‘jaded’! It is definitely something that I will continue to maintain”.
John, a 41-year-old Housing Officer who works for the Local Government, was equally thrilled with the results of his treatment, which also included Botox on his forehead and fillers on his nasolabial (nose to mouth) lines. He says;
“I had been thinking of having Botox injections for quite a while now, and although I have always had a good skincare regime, there comes a time when some additional intervention is required. The frown lines on my forehead have now been refined and I certainly intend to continue with whatever treatments there are available keep me looking good”.
Charlotte Hynes, Registered General Nurse and in-house Aesthetician at the London Plastic Surgery Associates ‘Non-Surgical Room’ confirmed;
“Over the past year we have seen a significant increase in men coming along for consultations for non-surgical treatments such as Botox and injectables as well as skin care. These anti-ageing measures are no longer just part of the woman’s domain - most men are now aware of the long term importance of a good skincare regime, and appreciate a little professional help when it’s needed”.
